Song-Stylist, Vocalist, and Producer

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

About once a month, you'll find out about my shows, new recordings, stories about what I'm up to, and get some insight into my musical process. Ok, and *maybe* a cute cat photo (definitely a cute cat photo).

Featured Single

Composed by Guy Wood and Robert Mellin, this gorgeous jazz standard was one I’d been a bit intimidated to tackle - the vocal is quite challenging - but Shelly Berg believed in me, and in the power of the song.  We created this dreamy, ultra-romantic piece at our ‘Capitol Sessions’ recording in LA in October, 2021.

Her vocals are impressive throughout with a ‘less-is-more’ approach…her soft delivery makes the tale of lost love resonate even more deeply.”

Royal Hawaiian Estates Presents “A Blue Hawaiian Hop!”

 —  —

Royal Hawaiian Estates , 105 E Twin Palms Drive, Gate #2 Palm Springs, CA 92264, Palm Springs, CA 92264

Join the Royal Hawaiian Estates as they present “A Blue Hawaiian Hop!” The film Blue Hawaii was released in 1961, same year as completion of the Royal Hawaiian Estates, a Polynesian-inspired property in the Southern California desert!

Designed by Donald Wexler and Richard Harrison for the local Jewish community, this iconic Polynesian-themed oasis was Palm Springs’ first historic residential district, known for its famed “tiki apexes,” “flying sevens,” roofline “teeth,” and “ladder extensions.” Some of Hollywood’s movers and shakers have owned units here, including comedian/actor George Jessel, who (legend has it) regularly hosted Hawaiian-themed poolside parties with Vegas showgirls serving martinis and models floating on giant blocks of ice.

Gather at the west pool for light snacks and cocktails, featuring one of our signature mixology creations! Take a break from the party to tour the interiors of five tiki-inspired and modernized homes. Stroll through the grounds of this recently refurbished, desert-tropical community while sashaying your finest tiki- and surf-inspired attire. Return to the ”Hop” and enjoy early 60s music and dancing with Coachella Valley’s best, The Gand Band! Before you depart, stop by the Royal Hawaiian “Hop-Up Shop” to receive an exclusive Royal Hawaiian gift created by one of our community residents, SHAG! HipaHipa!

If you'd like to make a full day of it consider attending a separately ticketed, relaxing neighborhood interior home tour earlier in the day, featuring 10+ iconic properties.

Event proceeds will support ongoing restoration and modernization of the Royal Hawaiian Estates community.
